Description

It will be nice if the user can see a detailed version of the repository that they are hovering over — in case they forgot what the repo is about before making any amendments/deleting the repo.

Suggested solution

You can try to duplicate Github card design (refer below) and use floatingui to show this card on hover of a dropdown item.
