Feature Request: Custom message (progress bar) #75
Comments
That is quite possible, we could just read from the plist and write that value to the NSTextField instead of a static text we currently have. |
I'd really like to see this too. Any progress on this @cybertunnel ? :-) |
@ryanslater-uk in full transparency I have not had a chance to work on this as much as I would like since we are looking at moving to utilize the new Jamf Connect. It shouldn't be that big of a change so once I do get some time it shouldn't take long. I will update this thread with the branch that offers this feature. |
So the implementation I will do is going to be a static, but custom message text. This setting would also be in the preferences file. I will start working on this in the next few days. |
That's fine, thank you @cybertunnel ! |
Sorry that it has taken so long to get added, too far shorter amount of time than I thought it was going to take. |
Hi Team,
It would be great if we could customize messages that are shown above progress bar.
For example after the installation is finished and something went wrong, message that displays "Support is notified." can be confusing since the application is not notifying anyone and it would be great if we could edit it in some easier way than to re-compile the application.
Thanks.
