I'd like a feature that takes an image, GIF, or video, and automatically crops it so that any black bars/letterboxing is removed, leaving just the actual content.

Every meme template on YouTube for some reason is either converted to 16:9, leaving bars on the left and right, or 9:16 (for Shorts), leaving bars on the top and bottom. Sometimes, it's somehow both; the entire video is surrounded by darkness. I want those gone easily.

I've manually cut them out, but that takes effort and I'm lazy.

Hmmm not a bad idea, should be easy to implement based on the existing uncaption code

Speaking of uncaption, could you also add an option for it to check how similar the caption background is to black, instead of white? Some memes have white text on black background captions, and for one, I had to:

• /invert the video
• /uncaption the video, now that the caption is white
• /invert the video back
• /caption my own caption in
  This sometimes works, sometimes doesn't.
