TDS: What is Default/Demand?

1. From where is the TDS demand captured?
2. What is the concept of Defaults in TDS Traces?

The Demand is captured from Traces website under the menu "Default Summary"

In this (Default Summary) screen, the user has to select the "year" and "quarter" to view the demand.

If there is demand for that quarter, the demand list shows the Total Demand against each Form Type for that quarter.
In this example, we have demand of Rs50 only for Form "24Q"
