How to export password and PAN list from Winman CA ERP

I am using Winman CA ERP to file Income tax return. Hence, all the client's password are stored in the software.

How can I extract this data (Name, PAN, Password) into excel file so that it can be imported into Jamku Portal 👩‍🦰

Winman does not have pre-made report or functionality to extract password list from the software. Follow these steps to extract data from the database used by winman software.

1. Locate database file

In your installation folder you will find CommonMIS.mdb file. This is MS Access 97 file.
Close all instances of software. This will ensure the database is "closed".
Copy the file to any folder. For next step, we will be using this "copied" file.

2. Open File

You will need MS Access to open this file. If you have MS Excel installed on your PC, then most likely MS Access will also be installed on your PC.
The file is password protected. Password to open this file is ItDbPass.
Simply double click the file and it will ask for password. Enter the password to open the file.

Depending upon PC security configuration, you may get warning as shown below.
Click on Open

3. Extract Data

There are many tables in the Database file.
We are interested in static_MIS table.

Right Click on the table > Export > Excel

Specify the path where you wish to extract the data. Finally click Ok.
