Configurable product lose options when added to wishlist

Preconditions and environment

On latest magento version, with sample data deployed.

Steps to reproduce

1 Login into your account/ create a new account.
2 Visit a configurable product. (Or create one, simple configurable with at least 2 options. Not a swatch configurable).
3 While on product page, do not select anything and click add to wishlist.
4 Go to wishlist and click "add product to cart" -> here you should expect an error "please select product options or something" - ALL GOOD SO FAR

Now redo the steps, but this time, select options for configurable product before adding it to cart
Go back to wishlist and click "add product to cart"

Expected result

Expected Result:

• product went smoothly into cart with the saved options

You can see a small flicker after you clicked the "add to wishlist" that the 2nd options is set to "Choose an option.."

You have not followed the reproduction steps. Please do check again the step 2: "2 Visit a configurable product. (Or create one, simple configurable with at least 2 options. Not a swatch configurable)."

You need to have at least 2 options for the configurable. The second one is lost while adding to whishlist

@engcom-Bravo You are still having 1 option (1 dropdown in the product page). You need 2. A configurable based on 2 attributes so it will have 2 dropdown to select from in the product page.

@engcom-Bravo Man, why is it so hard? This is the 3rd time, and it's a very damn simple thing.
In this last video you have changed the test entirely. Have you even read the replication steps I have wrote on the task description?

So, using the product from the 3rd video, do the steps you did on the first video.

product was loosing options even we have added with options to wishlist.
