Porting the Intel rendering fix to 1.7.2 and below

Title.
Since some of my favorite maps and modpacks are in some versions even older than 1.7.10 (more precisely 1.7.2), and the fxxking Intel Rendering Problem still exists, I'm wondering if it's possible to transplant this mod or some of its features to older versions,or is there a possible way to fix the rendering problem in a more general way instead of just using another graphics card.

Normally I'd say no, but since it's such a small fix, porting it shouldn't be too much trouble. I'll see what I can do later.

Hello, since this comment was from a year ago, I was wondering if this "backport" to 1.7.2 was continued to develop
No intend of pressure at all, just wanted to know; I was trying to play with an old modpack for 1.7.2 but I've had that same graphic issue, and I've search in every corner and found no fix for this specific version. Sorry to bother with this :/

Also found some pre-1.6 fixes for that same error, in case you want to backport even below. A user on betacraft dc have them in case you want to contact him ^^
