It turns out there's a WIP in MNE to update the topo map diagram with more information, including channel names.

It's not merged, but we could use the code in this PR to get the results: mne-tools/mne-python#4746

The PR has been merged in the MNE Sprint! #44

We should update the app to make use of these new features: mne-tools/mne-python#6211
