Scary "enter your password" pop up

Not sure if it matches a bug or a feature template. I'm trying cmux on my Mac, I have authenticated with Github, and suddenly this input pops out. Why would it ask something like this in addition to a github oauth token?

To be honest it looks quite scary and I'm still not sure if it's a malware or not 😁
