It would be nice to have the possibility to preview other image format often used in LaTeX, like eps and pdf.
Note that for the pdf it would be nice to be able to find a file named "3AnodicBonding-eps-converted-to.pdf" from the \includegraphics{3AnodicBonding}, as the pdf file can be automatically generated at building time from the eps source using the epstopdf LaTeX package, that will add the "-eps-converted-to.pdf" suffix upon conversion.
Moreover, previewing svg would be nice in my case, as I'm using Inkscape for the source file and generate eps from there - but I admit it should be less of a priority :-)
