Hey there, as I was looking for an alternative to leaflet I stumbled across this library?

What is the current status of the project? It doesn't seem like it is actively maintained. Are there any future plans, are you looking for maintainers?

I really like the idea of pigeon and would really like to use it in production. But the documentation is lacking and there is no easy support for custom markers with modals or popovers afaik.

Hey, I'm around, though not actively using this library in any project myself right now. Unfortunately I have plenty on my plate and can't get to all the issues here, but I am happy to merge good PRs if they come my way.
