Compile error with XCode fbIntfClass* getinstance() has no body

Checked out master and used the XCode (16.2) project and firebird 5.*
I have found in _ibpp.h class fbIntfClass line 1506 a
static fbIntfClass* getInstance(); declaration but I find no body/definition in any project *.cpp
I did make one to get the project to compile but have I missed something?
