Brief description of the feature request

I would love the ability to use system TTS to read-aloud my articles. I can get through way more of my feed way faster if I listen to it while doing other things, but RSSGuard doesn't seem to have any setting or option for this.

Can you give any example of how TTS is supported in other similar programs?

sure! Calibre has TTS support, and on Linux it uses speech dispatcher - I'm not 100% which library it uses on windows, but there's a list here (I don't remember which platforms rssguard supports - I'm on linux and have only ever used it on there).
