Check Windows support

I am not sure if the plugin works correctly on Windows at the moment as e.g. nohup assumes this is running on a Linux (Unix-like?) system.

It would be great to either get the plugin to work on Windows or document the fact that it doesn't work.

seeing eg https://stackoverflow.com/a/3382087 a simple solution for now would be to simply not add nohup on windows and then see if it still causes issues. If a user then still reports an issue we could update the docs that windows might be causing issues or it won't work there.

This should now be solved with #156 in the latest release.
