Bug: filter by language is not working.

The filter is not working as expected.
When selecting or searching for different languages, the results don’t change correctly —

• c++ shows 60,174 repositories
• cpp shows 2,405 repositories
• Any other language also shows 60,176 repositories (same as c++)

Here are 3 screenshots showing the issue:

It looks like when the entered language doesn’t exactly match the options, the filter defaults to showing all Hacktoberfest repositories.
This might be happening because the filter option uses “c++” while the query uses “cpp”, causing a mismatch.

Please assign this issue to me — I’ll investigate and fix the problem.

@DivyanshuVortex I have temporarily changed the link from c++ to cpp. But below is the potential long-term solution we can use

1. Fetch the list of languages from this URL on build time - "https://raw.githubusercontent.com/github/linguist/master/lib/linguist/languages.yml"
2. Convert that yaml to json and then to an array of strings
3. Compare the language name that we get from the URL with this array, and give the correct matching language name to the GitHub API. Otherwise, call the notFound() function to show a 404 page

The issue is just kinda solved but it's not a true solution

It still takes the language name as anything and we have to show a 404 if the language name is invalid. For example - https://finder.usmans.me/repos?l=javascritp

Let me know if you want to take this uo as a challenge and implement the above solution I proposed @DivyanshuVortex
