I think this was a placeholder for two issues. 1) the spreadsheet upload of media sources when creating a collection. along the way, errors can happen. A nice to have. also possibly related to 2) the url checking of the source name during creation. will look into this when reviewing #1956

Ok, how about we divide this issue into two? We can leave the second issue you mentioned for #1956 and keep this one for the first one. It's not clear to me what the problem is though. In what ways do errors happen? Steps to recreate the issue would be helpful!
