[BUG]: Overheat in sleep mode. #116
Comments
Try to run the following command in Terminal: bcdedit /deletevalue disabledynamictick Restart, and please verify if it works. |
This doesn't work, the laptop is still dreadfully hot during sleep mode. Unless I do repair upgrade (But this breaks Revision Tool). |
Can confirm on my i7-11800h Laptop |
post the output of powercfg /sleepstudy and powercfg /a incase S3 is enabled if not try disabling it ig and see if that helps https://www.elevenforum.com/t/disable-modern-standby-in-windows-10-and-windows-11.3929/ |
My laptop has the exact same problem |
Describe the bug
I'm using a laprtop, in sleep mode the CPU easily go overheated while the fan is off, which doesn't happen in regular Windows 11.
This problem exists since last year I first tried Revi OS, although it's possible to solve the problem by doing a repair update using original Windows 11 ISO, using Revison Tool will not be possible in this way,
Steps to reproduce
Expected behavior
The CPU won't go overheated during sleep mode while the fan is off.
