Description

The messaging section of the WebUI does not notify of new messages. Users must open each channel and node in order to see if there is a new message. Node lists can get rather long, and it is very possible to miss a message.

The message section of the WebUI should offer some sort of notification on new messages. The list of channels could show an asterisk - either on the channel icon or name - when new messages are present. The node list should be sorted such that nodes with unread messages are at the top of the list. An indicator showing the presence of unread messages (icon or node name) would be very useful.

While it would be helpful to indicate the number of unread messages, just showing that new messages are present would be very welcome.

This would be very useful for me as well. I am using a Heltec V3 up in my attic and out of bluetooth range, so I connect to it via WiFi. I am limited to using the web client since I do not have any Android devices, and the iOS app can't connect via WiFi. So basically I literally have no way to know when I've received a message, except to click through each node. This is extremely tedious when you are part of a large mesh and have to click through 20+ nodes.
