currently, disabling for item frames doesn't work

item frames are entities, not blocks. have you tried adding them to the disabled-mobs list?

yep, i have tried both disabled-mobs and disabled-blocks
i put

disabled-[mobs|blocks]:
  - item_frame

i think disabled-mobs should be renamed to disabled-entities, because not all entities are mobs
