I would be careful about what info to display, because it may carry an unintended message. For example, ruby-toolbox is useful for a lot of people, but they highlight libraries that have been recently updated and they also value libraries that are popular. The problem is that a highly maintained library is probably a library that requires more work, not necessarily a better one. The analogy is a building that needs constant repairing, and it's not necessarily an indication of good construction. Regarding popularity, it's a metric that creates a tendency that is hard to modify. Popularity is a key factor for many people when choosing a library, and I think it's a wrong metric for determining good quality.
