https://arxiv.org/pdf/2503.16527 It's a problem with LLMs. Since all commercial LLMs are heavily guarded and expect them to be "nice", it tends to happen. One way is to go to your persona's json, and modify their traits and characteristics to be short-tempered or frustrated. Then, have your prompt in the focus group to reflect these emotions while participants respond. |

I work in local government in the UK and I like the idea of using TinyTroupe to try out controversial decisions with personas based around typical citizens.
I created a focus group of 10 citizens (I used Copilot to create the personas for me based on the demographics of the area). I then asked them to discuss the introduction of a 3 weekly waste collection (changing from weekly). Their feedback was good but I feel it is too polite!
Any thoughts on how i could make my troupe respond in a more realistic way? I would expect range of emotions on an evocative subject - definitely a bit of anger!
