How to reduce the size of static library file?

According to following document to build from source code:
Build ONNX Runtime for inferencing

The “–config” parameter is “MinSizeRel”.
./build.sh --config MinSizeRel --build_shared_lib --parallel --compile_no_warning_as_error --skip_submodule_sync

After build completed, check the static library files.
The size is huge:

• libonnxruntime_providers.a: 1.3 GB
• libonnxruntime_framework.a: 246.5 MB

Is there a way to reduce the size of file?
