You are asking for trouble. With regard to ABI, dependency tracking and binary caching, there is only one reliable way to replace ports with alternative dependency providers: overlay ports. |

I've just recently had an issue that I had a library installed using vcpkg, but also another version of the library next to my solution.
Obviously, I want to use the local version, since I specifically added it. Instead, headers from the vcpkg storage are pulled, which can of course break the build and other things, that is in Visual studio integrated with vcpkg.
Therefore, I'd like to suggest that in case of collision, non-vcpkg should have priority over implicitly including vcpkg libraries.
