They make the click noise and haptic feedback, and animate like I’m pressing them, but do not light up or do anything after pressing. They’re essentially dummy buttons. I’m running iPhone 8, iOS 12.1, unc0ver 3.1.2

Install LittleXS and then you will be able to just tap on the shortcuts.
