It looks like it committed to QA, but obviously the error prohibits being published to PROD. But i don't know what the "Auto commit for file version change is. I'd like to understand this for future reference.

It looks as if wikigdrive hasn't pulled the new file yet, which caused a failure to add it to the commit (it tried to send an empty commit).
As far as I know, auto commit for file version change is something that happens automatically from time to time and synchronizes files. It shouldn't affect committing because it occurs on WikiDrive. The previous problem with committing occurs when someone adds a commit directly on GitHub and WikiDrive is not synchronized. This seems like a new thing. @ggodlewski can you check if I'm making sense?
I updated the Navigation page and committed/published it. I added "Deals Quick Links - Using Deals In Encounters"
I got an error when committing: https://wikigdrive.com/drive/0AF_nrE0_QH_2Uk9PVA#drive_logs:job-73c9477b-c3a3-4c37-a529-5251dcbab078
