MPEG TS / MTS problems workaround

MPEG TS files aka MTS can be complex with dynamic data like streams that change over time. This is known to cause problems, so it's often necessary to remux them into a more manageable format like mp4.

Note that these issues might never be fixed but we should probably workaround them by for example encouraging the user to remux the file.
