Keyframe markers not showing immediately when moving to the next set of frames

Windows 10 64 bit, AMD Ryzen Graphics.

The keyframe markers don't show when the playback moves to the next set of frames. They only come back when I press pause or move back and forth with the arrow keys. Screenshot of blank progress bar included.

You mean while playing back, it doesn't load the next keyframes? That's a performance optimization because extracting keyframes takes some time and CPU.
