[Patreon] How to download external images hotlinked within Patreon posts?

Is there a way to automatically download the inline media which is hotlinked to, say, Imgur or ImgBB?

gallery-dl seems to download media that is uploaded to Patreon (https://*.patreonusercontent.com/*) just fine already; I want it to work similarly for media on Imgur (https://i.imgur.com/*.jpg) as well (or any other similar sites for that matter). Note that I am talking about the inline images inside the post, not attachments

A different question, less important, but nice to have...
I scrape the post content as well and save it in html files. Is it possible to modify the img fields so that when I open the html files, the inline images are loaded from my hard drive directly rather than the original src fields? This is mainly because Patreon's image URLs expire after a while

This is probably asking for too much, but doesn't hurt to try. Thanks in advance!
