Download Reddit gifs as mp4

With a post like this, Reddit displays a GIF as a looping MP4 file. Is it possible for gallery-dl to download that MP4 instead of the GIF?

Not sure if these automatically generated previews from reddit are that desirable, actually.
Assume that they are a bit more compressed than what would be good.
In the long run, doing the conversion to mp4 on your own might be better..

That said, this URL exists in the metadata extracted by gallery-dl and you can get it like this:

gallery-dl 'https://www.reddit.com/r/gifs/comments/wvg7q6/use_it_or_lose_it/' --filter "print(preview['images'][0]['variants']['mp4']['source']['url'])"

You can run this against a bunch of URLs and redirected output to a file >> file.txt
