I am attempting to start quilt:1.20.1, and I have tried reinstalling portablemc.

Could you elaborate on what system are you using, and maybe a full log ?

A friend of mine just had the same kind of issue, it is really complicated to understand how this happens but it looks like it's related to wrong paths being used for installation. I really don't understand how to debug/reproduce this on my side!
