Desktop being rendered through texture overlay from resource pack. When Wayland windowing system is disabled.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Use flatseal to disabled Wayland windowing system
2. Install addon from mentioned link
3. Find a mob and attack to trigger health bar display
4. See bug, desktop is being rendered. Easily noticeable on a page full of text.

Additional context
I was having issues with signing into google when launching(probably deserves a separate bug), so I ran in debug mode and saw there were some wayland errors. Used flatseal to disable wayland windowing system, and then I was able to sign into google and play the game. In the middle if setting up this bug report, I thought I might try reverting these settings and what do you know; it works, no background being rendered where textures are overlayed...
