Can you use a cropped pano inside as a node in a virtual tour?

Does anyone know how to use a cropped pano as one of the nodes in a virtual tour, or if that even possible?

there is nothing specific, just use your cropped image if it has embedded XMP data, or provide "panoData" on the node.
