How to use authentication redirection for plugins like mitre/saml

How can i redirect the /login action for use of authentication plugins in caldera?
As the login page is always rendered client side one always has to click login before any correct page can be shown.
Is there a correct way to manage this without changing the magma source code?

Unfortunately our team does not support the SAML plugin at the current time. See note in the main README.

If you do take on a PR, would be happy to merge.
