At midnight cost today resets to zero, however electricity kWh today and gas kWh today do not reset and continue to climb until 0100, they do reset to 0 at midnight in my geo home app.

I can't reproduce that. They all reset at midnight for me (specifically, sensor.gas_kwh_today and sensor.electricity_kwh_today both reset at midnight for me). This data comes from your supplier though. I wonder if they do something funky with GMT vs BST? Are you on a tariff that might do something special?

Also, in Home Assistant settings, do you have your time zone set correctly?

So home assistant set to gmt +00:00 London, and displays correct time. As you can see still climbing upto 00:59 then goes back to 0. Like this every day. I'm on octopus agile, not sure if that would make a difference. I will check my meter tonight to make sure it goes to 0 at midnightimage

I'm on EDF, and here's what I see;

I'm guessing Octopus are only resetting the data the kWh reading at midnight GMT.
