There is an answer-changing bugfix PR to dev/gfdl (), but it only applies to the very rare case where BT_LINEAR_WAVE_DRAG=True. It is even likely that no one has ever used this option, since its introduction in November 2017, before He Wang did in his run that found this bug. This would most likely be used in certain tide simulations, and it also requires a particular input file given by BT_WAVE_DRAG_FILE for runs to be impacted.
Please reply if anyone is using such a configuration and wants to preserve their answers with this bug, but I am not expecting to hear of any such cases.
