Question: Are auth tokens needed for mainnet and testnet indexer?

On Aptos, an auth token is required to spin up indexer processors.

Figure out whether this is required on Movement and how to obtain an auth token.

Then use that for #1261.

@musitdev do you know about this? I wasn't able to figure out from the docs; in the indexer processors v2 the SDK use a config file such as

I think Aptos defines the auth token to protect its access point. As you don't connect to the Aptos node but your own, you don't need an access token. Leave it empty or put anything in it.
You need to change indexer_grpc_data_service_address to indicate the local node.

In this case I want to connect to Movement mainnet, so would I need an auth token for that? Or you mean, I should run my own mainnet node?

I think for test purposes, you should start your node locally using the soak test so that new Tx are created and you connect your indexer to it. When everything works, you add all the needed processors. And only after that, you can do some tests on Testnet, but for that, you need to start an instance, I think. @radupopa369 can tell you more about how to connect to the Tetsnet full node for indexing.

It appears that yes, if the transaction stream is opened to the public, then auth tokens will be necessary. However the team has yet to decide on this point... so I'll keep the issue open for now.
