Full node bootstrap deadlock: “Da Sync from height zero is not allowed” prevents initial sync

A fresh Movement full node is unable to bootstrap from height 0.

The node starts correctly, loads genesis and waypoint files, exposes the API,
and connects to the DA sequencer, but ledger_version and block_height remain
permanently at 0.

Logs show the following error:

Observed behavior

• API reachable at http://127.0.0.1:8080/v1
• ledger_version = 0
• block_height = 0
• values never increase even after long uptime

Thanks for the clarification.

Even with the migration to L1 and the new archival node setup, there still does not seem to be a way for operators to verify whether their node is actually recognized by the network or included in any uptime or snapshot tracking.

My original concern was not about the setup itself, but about the lack of visibility or confirmation that a running and fully synced node is effectively counted by the network.

If there is a recommended way to verify node recognition or eligibility in the new L1 architecture, could you please point it out?
