Version Confusion

I recently heard of this project and thought I might help out so I went on to F-Droid, found it and installed.
Since I couldn't see any OSM maptiles and the log was full of errors, I came here and found an older issue regarding this. The "Solution" was to install it from google.

This I did. It shows the maps, logs properly. Everything good...almost.
There are two options missing from this version. One regarding the Firefox Account and the other regarding the nick I want to use.

I'm confused now.

• Does the data collected through google count towards the list at all?
• Has there been a solution for the OSM tiles problem with the F-Droid version? (I'd like to use this version in the end)

Stumbler Version: 1.8.8. (playstore)
Android: 7.1.1

Alright, I see the F-Droid Version is: Version 1.8.6 (1080600) - Added on 2016-06-30
So installing that makes not much sense I guess. However, the issue with the Mozilla Account remains.
Why are those options missing in the google version? How are they uploaded and with which ID?
