make gearshifft portable

  • OSX
  • Windows
    • mingw
    • VC++
  • ..?..

notes:

-> for linux + OSX portability, add travis-ci test scripts
-> for windows portability, add AppVayor test scripts

both also support to deploy (binary) build artifacts, e.g. for releases.

nice, thanks a lot for your support again. yes, travis and now also AppVeyor are on the todo list :)
I guess the code will have some issues under Windows. At the moment platform portability is not an urgent issue though.
