Note that we have not yet committed to use slack - we're just evaluating it!

Note that you can change your email after signing up. So I used my @uw.edu at first then switched to my preferred addr.

I'd suggest removing that restriction for a few days, then emailing the entire list of attendees with a short note telling them about it (signup optional). Once most folks are signed up with their preferred email accounts we can just close off signups (the way things are set up now, anyone at the three campuses, even those unaffiliated with MSDSE in any capacity can sign up anytime).

After that, we can just have note in the org that one has to email someone (maybe the coordinators or a email list with a dozen moderators. It would be really really low traffic once we're moving) to be invited to join.
