Please see issues I logged in multi-tenant-single-db.
plugins
multi-tenant-foundation
multi-tenant-single-db
multi-tenant-separate-db or (multi-tenant-multi-db??)

other option is to keep the core stuff in single-db and have multi-tenant-separate-db depend on that.
