Plini Roessler-Holgate is an Australian guitarist and songwriter who goes by the name Plini. Prior to using his first name, he started off by releasing music under the moniker Halcyon. The website MusicRadar ranked Plini the best prog guitarist of 2017 and Steve Vai called him "the future of excellent guitar playing."

Plini has published a trilogy of long plays (Other Things and Sweet Nothings in 2013, The End of Everything in 2015). 2016 saw the release of his first album, Handmade Cities, which Vai praised as "one of the finest, forward-thinking, melodic, rhythmically and harmonically profound instrumental guitar records [he] has ever heard." His second full-length album, Impulse Voices, was published in 2020 after the release of his EP Sunhead in 2018.(Source from Wiki)
