I have plans to integrate one of those bundles:
https://github.com/1up-lab/OneupFlysystemBundle
https://github.com/thephpleague/flysystem-bundle
But I have not decided yet, which one to use.
It will integrate the great Flysystem library into Kimai.

If you work on that, please consider to do the main work as PR for Kimai directly.
I'd like to replace the current data_dir setting with a general Flysystem object, which can be utilized by every class.
