Describe the bug
I've looked at the recently closed issues regarding cookies and login issues. I'm still getting the the error "Seems like the cookies are invalid, try regenerating them." when using method 1 or 2.

I've tried the troubleshooting of clearing cookies, re-installing browsers and making sure that there is only one google account associated to the browser.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  • Open terminal
  • pipx upgrade ghunt
  • ghunt login --clean
  • ghunt login
  • Choice => 1 or Choice => 2
  • From the Companion extension in Firefox or Chrome select
  • Synchronize to Ghunt
  • Log into Google
  • Select corresponding option.
  • Error: Seems like the cookies are invalid, try regenerating them.

Expected behavior
Successful login

System (please complete the following information):
Ghunt version 2.1.0
Ghunt Companion version 2.0.0
MacOS 10.15.7
Python Version: 3.10.3
Firefox 122.0
Chrome 121.0.6167.139

Commenting to say that I am having the same issue. When I select option 2 and paste my base64 data, the terminal will beep at me until I engage a keyboard interruption in the CLI. Selecting option 1 gives me the same error mentioned above.

I'm marginally savvy on debugging issues, but trying option 3 makes it difficult to retrieve all of the information required in the cookies provided in the developer window of Chrome.

Also noting for @mxrch that I AM, using Osint Industries, and find it to be a very valuable tool. I do, however, enjoy ghunt and find it to be useful for specific use cases.

I'm also experiencing the issue with option 2 on Mac. Looks like Mac terminal is not accepting long input, and it freezes after exceeding some limit.
However, I'm not experiencing any problem with option 1. Here is my environment.

  • GHunt 2.1.0
  • Ghunt Companion version 2.0.0
  • MacOS 13.6.4
  • Python Version: 3.11.7
  • Chrome 121.0.6167.85

Same problem here. On mac. Option 1 says invalid cookies. Option 2 is the Terminal issue (can't press Enter). Option 3 Has a similar issue and seems to cut off cookie.

I always get the invalid cookies error no matter which option i choose.

Tried:

  • Using several browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Brave)
  • Clearing cookies.
  • Only being logged in to one google account.

Nothing has seemed to work until now.
