In reviewing the latest next versus main branch, the features in next are far behind main. About a year ago, the plan was to shift development to next with refactoring. How's that goal going?

A couple of days ago, I revisited the Nakama project after almost a year away. I'd like to get back to studying the code and contribute. However, I'm unsure if I should focus on the next or main branch.

next branch is were the development should be.

main is the current deployed project at nakama.social but only fixes or small feature request should happen there.

That being said, yeah its true that the development has been stuck. Still need to reach at the feature set of main and think how to migrate the data to the new design since some things are working different and the database has a different design.

@nicolasparada, what's causing the "stuck?" I have next set up and exploring that code base. I'll set up main and explore that as well. I'm still learning golang.

Nicolas, would you mind sharing the original objective(s) for refactoring the code from main to next?

What is the roadmap for next?

Having that knowledge will help me coordinate my changes with the desired outcome to give back to the project.
