Core2 flashed, first hello world deployed, not more COM port

I have recently started working with ESP32 devices to see how far my C# knowledge could get me.
I ordered the Core2 and flashed the nanoFramework firmware following this guide

After this I deployed the sample code to enable the LED and from that point forward, the device remains unresponsive. The COM port is detected on restart and after 2-3 second removed from the Windows device manager again, rendering the device useless.

Anyone, any direction on how to get some movement back in this device ?
I did remove the battery for a while, restart multiple times, nothing seems to make the device start.

Nevermind, I'm so new I didn't know the trick with the jumper wire between G0 and GND ...
