No facility to save the pattern to disk #1

At some point it would be nice to have a save-to-disk feature to save an image of the pattern. Perhaps save the settings values in the EXIF metadata.

I love this idea!

I currently know precisely nothing about GUIs and egui in particular, so this might take me a while to do, but I'll work on it.
