Trying to upgrade to v3.7.8 from v3.6.7 to upgrade to latest v4 #16717

I follow the migration docs here: https://netboxlabs.com/docs/netbox/en/stable/installation/upgrading/ From 3.6.7 you can upgrade to 3.7.8 but you'll need to specify the version tag on the git checkout instead of master: Look for the section under "Option B: Clone the Git Repository" and "Checking out an older release". If you pull the update branch it should migrate ok. If you haven't done it I would highly recommend backing up the database and if your running a VM take a snapshot before you start. |

Looks like it was a glitch. I'm not on v4.0.6 |

Hi all
I've managed to install python3.11 and python3.12
But I've been having some trouble upgrading to v3.7.8
I had to do a git fetch to be able to check out v3.7.8
then i did a
git checkout v3.7.8
then i did the
sudo ./upgrade.sh
Which not reading all the text and it was installing v4.0.6
I set the python variable and run the install
then broke here.
Now realizing is was installing v4.0.6.
I'm assuming if i can manage to upgrade to v3.7.8
This will repair it's self or is it dead?
If upgrading to v3.7.8
Could some one help me to get it to upgrade v3.7.8?
Why is it trying to install v4
`netbox-new:/opt/netbox$ sudo git branch
(HEAD detached from v3.7.8)
master`
Do i need to do something with the
sudo git pull origin master
other than just agit pull
