Running Netbox and a php site on the same server, how to update the httpd config?

I'm running Netbox as https://srv11net11.labnet.int/netbox

I've the following in /etc/httpd/conf.d/netbox.conf

Now I would like to run one additional web app on the same server like https://srv11net11.labnet.int/otherapp

The app and its files are stored in /var/www/html/otherapp

From the app install manual, I should add the following lines to "an httpd config"

<Directory "/var/www/html/otherapp">
	Options FollowSymLinks
	AllowOverride all
	Order allow,deny
	Allow from all
</Directory>

How can I combine this in the /etc/httpd/conf.d/netbox.conf file? (which I can rename of course)
or create a separate file /etc/httpd/conf.d/otherapp.conf

Any advice is much appreciated

That's not a Netbox question and should therefore be asked elsewhere...

I assume you are not really familiar with the httpd configuration and you just pasted what you where provided, so here are a few links you will need to look at:

• VirtualHost
• ProxyPass
• Directory

If you look at your current configuration, you will see that there is already a Directory block, but this is specific to Netbox and you don't want to mix things together. Especially, you want to access them separatly, usually you do that using a different host.

What you want is to define another VirtualHost with a new ServerName and you put the Directory block inside of it.
You might also want to change the ServerName for Netbox since the wildcard is for Netbox only here, which is strange.

There might be more to say, but this is again not Netbox related and if you want an accurate answer you will need to ask your question somewhere more suited.

I am familiar with httpd configurations, but mostly with php websites. Not yet with a webbased python app.
I tried various configurations with the directory block, separate virtual hosts, etc... but no matter the directory, It always ends with a Page not found from Netbox itself. The only way it seems to work, is to run the 2nd site on a different port (like 444 instead of 443 for https) , but it is less than ideal.

Having said that, I'll close this question as we'll go for another option
