Checkbox Option to Not Alter Compose?

Is there any chance of adding a checkbox/option to limit the scope of the plugin to only text/plain inbound messages rather than also altering the "Compose" workflow?

I'm sure it would be possible, but at the moment I'm not able to invest time to check how, sorry. I'm open for a pull request though. You would have to toggle the css rule for the .editable class with that toggle switch.
